Major DutiesYou will supervise workers performing Nuclear and/or Non-Nuclear marine machinery operations in support of naval ship repair, maintenance, and modernization.You will review assigned job orders, workload data, plans, specifications, sketches and instructions; plan weekly/monthly work schedules and worker assignments; plan sequence of work operations for subordinates.You will instructs workers on proper work methods, difficult work operations, use and care of equipment, and safe work practices.You will maintain records of subordinates' time and manhour charges to assigned job orders; work progress, accidents, injuries, and causes of these; and prepare reports.
