Major DutiesYou will assign, direct, and review the work of subordinates, establishes performance plans and evaluates work performance; plans, schedules, and coordinates work operations.You will solve problems related to the work supervised; determines material, equipment, and facilities needed; explains and gains the support of subordinates for management policies and goals.You will plan, assign, coordinate, and direct work operations/functions for the Welder.You will provide input on the planning of current and future work schedules, budgets, and staffing needs; reviews assigned job orders, workload data, plans, specifications, sketches and instructions.You will plan weekly/monthly work schedules and worker assignments to accomplish projects; plan sequence of work operations for subordinates and any special work methods to be used.You will coordinate availability of any special tools, materials, equipment, and assists with trade help required.You will recommend solutions to staffing problems, engineering requirements, and other work operations.
