Job SummaryYou will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in QUALITY ASSURANCE DIVISION of SRF DETACHMENT SINGAPORE .

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing, and implementing a contract administration quality assurance program and evaluating, auditing, and monitoring the contractors' inspection system, special processes, and material controls and to ensure customer contract and quality requirements are met. Major DutiesYou will evaluate, audit and monitor the contractors' inspection system and special processes.You will be responsible for the implementation of the Contract Administration Quality Assurance Program (CAQAP).You will plan, develop, organize and manage a comprehensive CAQAP for confirming the contractor's quality system conformance to contract requirements.You will provide technical guidance for preparation, implementation, and recording of results of surveillance inspection plans for the Quality Assurance Division.You will provide training to ensure the skills are available for the performance of Quality Assurance functions.You will provide knowledge of ship repair/shipbuilding techniques and processes.
