Requirements: Experience providing 1st line IT support or technical customer service.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10/11.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: Provide 1st line IT support to customers by telephone and other support channels.Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents, service requests and technical queries.Log, record, classify and prioritise incidents accurately in line with Service Desk procedures and SLAs.Investigate and diagnose a range of hardware, software, application and network issues.Resolve incidents at first point of contact wherever possible or provide suitable workarounds.Escalate incidents to the appropriate specialist team where required.Provide clear technical advice and guidance to customers, including how-to support.Monitor and track incidents, keeping customers informed of progress and managing expectations. We are recruiting an IT Support Assistant to join an NHS Trust on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
