About this role
Your responsibilities Respond to customer support requests and technical incidents through the ticketing system. Troubleshoot issues involving Linux servers, dedicated infrastructure, cloud environments, storage platforms, and network connectivity. Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and monitoring events to identify the root cause of incidents. Resolve problems related to server functionality, operating system configuration, performance, and service availability. Coordinate with data centre technicians to perform hardware diagnostics and component replacements when required. Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams, providing complete troubleshooting details. Keep customers informed about incident progress and communicate technical information in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate case documentation, contribute to the knowledge base, and collaborate with internal infrastructure teams. Required skills and experience At least two years of experience in technical support, Linux administration, hosting operations, NOC, or a similar infrastructure-focused role. Practical experience administering Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or equivalent. Strong command-line skills, including process management, system services, user administration, permissions, package management, log analysis, and file systems. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing, routing, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewall concepts. Basic knowledge of server hardware, storage technologies, RAID configurations, and infrastructure monitoring. Experience working with ticketing systems, monitoring platforms, log management, or remote administration tools. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues simultaneously. English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above.
