Job SummaryYou will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE/SYSTEMS ANALYSIS) in the READINESS REPORITNG BRANCH of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing all activities of the Software development life cycle to include, but not limited to agile-based project management, software release management, contract management and financial management, Risk Management Framework (RMF), software development life cycle, change management and process development, IT operations, incident management and policy interpretation. Experience applying business process engineering concepts and methods sufficient to lead/conduct studies designed to identify potential improvements in the way information technology is applied to key business functions. Experience developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the agency. Experience providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues. Experience applying new developments to previously unsolvable problems and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important agency IT policies or programs. Experience applying interrelationships of multiple IT specialties, the agency's IT architecture, new IT developments and applications, emerging technologies and their applications to business processes, IT security concepts, standards, and methods, project management principles, methods, and practices. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Major DutiesYou will serve as the Navy Readiness Reporting Enterprise (NRRE) Project Officer responsible for analyzing, planning and management of the information system infrastructure to meet enterprise business requirements, strategies and mission goals.You will manage teams of contractors and serve as a technical authority, directing the implementation of cross-functional Agile solutions while ensuring the integration of all applicable systems (e.g. Microsoft Azure Government Cloud).You will recommend the objectives and courses of action to be pursued that support operations, system design, testing, implementation, configuration management standards, system interoperability, training and maintenance.You will develop long-range strategies to address evolving technology requirements by monitoring existing plans, developing mechanisms to project future program development and ensure the integration of all systems components.You will ensure the development and implementation of information technology architecture, infrastructure, design, and activities align to DoD and DON policy and practices.You will perform comprehensive program management responsibilities related to the execution of the NRRE Operations and Sustainment contract and participate in the development of execution year spending plans.
