QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as : Apply frameworks such as the MITRE ATT&CK (Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge) matrix, security logs, and virtualization products (e.g., VMware, Virtual PC) to monitor and defend network infrastructure; Analyze diverse cyberspace threats, campaigns, and vulnerabilities by evaluating the specific tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of state-sponsored groups, organized crime, and hacktivists. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Major DutiesYou will perform cyberspace threat analysis by developing cyberspace indicators to maintain awareness of the status of the highly dynamic operating environment.You will architect and direct information from various sources including security logs, internal network traffic, deep/dark web forums, and commercial threat intelligence feeds.You will collect, process, and disseminate cyberspace threat and warning assessments.You will provide tipping and queuing from a variety of sources and disciplines including Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and public resources.You will assess the effectiveness of collections in satisfying priority information gaps, using available capabilities and methods, and then adjust collection strategies and collection requirements accordingly.You will monitor operational environment and report on adversarial activities which fulfill leadership’s priority intelligence requirements (PIR).
