Requirements: Strong hands-on experience designing and building Azure platforms.Experience with Azure architecture and platform design.Proven experience deploying Azure VMware Solution (AVS) would be beneficial.Strong VMware infrastructure experience, including ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.Experience migrating or integrating VMware workloads into Azure.Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, storage, and identity (Entra ID).Experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.Experience producing technical documentation and following design standards.Experience implementing Omnissa Horizon in a hybrid Azure environment would be beneficial.Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) would be beneficial. Responsibilities: Design, build, and implement enterprise Azure platforms from the ground up.Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure VMware Solution (AVS).Migrate and integrate VMware environments into Azure.Work with architects and technical stakeholders to ensure platform designs align with business and technical requirements.Support the implementation of a hybrid Omnissa Horizon environment within Azure.Produce technical documentation and contribute to platform best practices.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues throughout implementation. We are hiring for a fully remote Azure Platform Engineer on a 3-month contract. We are looking for an experienced engineer to support the design and build of a new Azure platform, with a strong focus on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and hybrid infrastructure.
