About this role

Salary: £24,500 - 42,000 per year

Requirements: Proven experience in graphic design, bid design, or producing high-quality professional visual collateral within a commercial or regulated environmentExperience working in bids, proposals, or sales environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating the ability to communicate complex information through engaging, customer-focused visual designAdvanced proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and WordAbility to challenge traditional document layouts and recommend creative solutions that improve readability, scoring, evaluator engagement, and customer understandingExcellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality outputsStrong understanding of document layout, typography, and visual hierarchyAbility to work collaboratively with bid teams and stakeholders across the businessStrong communication skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and provide creative inputExcellent time management and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of the energy, decarbonisation, utilities, or in-home services sectorCandidates will be asked to present previous examples as part of the selection process Responsibilities: Create visually compelling, high-quality bid and proposal materials that clearly communicate our value proposition and differentiate our services in a competitive marketTranslate and simplify complex technical, operational, and commercial information into engaging, professional, and customer-focused visual contentProduce bid documents, presentations, and supporting materials with strong visual designDevelop infographics, diagrams, process maps, and other visual formats that improve clarity and readabilityCreate layouts and document structures that enhance readability, accessibility, and evaluator experienceEnsure all bid materials align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, professional visual identityDevelop graphics and visual elements that communicate key win themes, value propositions, and differentiatorsMaintain a library of reusable content and visual assetsDesign customer presentations, interview decks, and supporting visual material for tender submissions, clarification meetings, and post-tender activitiesWork closely with Bid Managers to understand bid strategies, win themes, and customer messagingParticipate in storyboard sessions to shape how content is visually presented and communicatedEngage with subject matter experts to accurately reflect technical information in visual formatsCollaborate with Bid Managers to develop visual solutions that improve evaluator understanding and maximise scoring against evaluation criteriaManage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to tight deadlinesReview and enhance existing materials to improve clarity, impact, and professionalismMaintain and develop the visual elements of the bid library, including templates, graphics, and reusable assetsContribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance design standards and bid presentation approachesSupport post-submission reviews to improve visual quality in future bids Technologies: CloudIndesignSupportOffice 365UX UI Design More:
