About this role

Job summary

A25 is an 18 bedded ward for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy side effects. We are responsible for providing compassionate, patient-centred care to individuals with cancer, ensuring safe and effective management of their treatment, symptoms and supportive care needs while working as part of a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Main duties of the job

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to oncology patients. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care. Administer medications and treatments safely. Monitor patients' condition and escalate concerns appropriately. Manage symptoms and provide emotional support to patients and families. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. Support discharge planning and patient education. Adhere to infection control, safety, and professional standards.
