Salary: £10,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Experience as a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect delivering solutions within Defence or other secure government environmentsStrong background in designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud-native solutionsTechnical architecture experience across software, infrastructure, and networkingExperience in digital transformation and IT modernisation programmesHands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platformsAbility to produce high-level and low-level technical designsExperience leading technical engagement with senior stakeholdersExperience taking ownership of architecture decisions and project deliveryExperience mentoring technical teams or acting as technical lead on complex programmesMust currently hold active MOD Developed Vetting (DV) clearanceFull UK driving licence and access to a car are highly desirable Responsibilities: Produce high- and low-level solution designsDefine technical architectures for cloud, infrastructure, and software solutionsGather and translate business and technical requirementsCreate technical Statements of Requirement (SoRs)Provide technical leadership across project deliveryAdvise customers on technology strategy and solution designSupport deployments into secure public and private cloud environments, including AWS and AzureBuild strong relationships with customer stakeholdersTake ownership of key technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle Technologies: AWSArchitectAzureCloudSupportSecurity More:
We are a well-established technology consultancy delivering complex digital and infrastructure solutions into the UK Defence sector. We are growing our team and offer the opportunity to work on high-profile Defence programmes, helping shape and deliver secure cloud, infrastructure, and software solutions for MOD customers. This is a hybrid role based in Corsham, with regular site travel expected depending on project requirements. We are looking for candidates based within commuting distance across the South West, and our customer site location makes a full UK driving licence and access to a car highly desirable.
