Responsibilities / Tasks
• Overall responsibility for Quality Management and Integrated Management Systems (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other applicable standards) within GEA India • Functionally leading the Quality Teams in India. • Ensure alignment with global GEA quality standards, policies and governance requirements • Drive harmonization, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the IMS processes • Plan, coordinate, execute and follow‑up on internal, external and certification audits. • Definition, implementation and monitoring of measures to sustainably improve product, process and system quality • Support quality ownership across the engineering lifecycle, including design quality, engineering change management, and quality requirements for product adaptations and new developments. • Provide governance and oversight for supplier and subcontractor quality, including qualification, development, audits and performance monitoring. • Provide governance and oversight end‑to‑end quality for white‑label and outsourced components, products and services, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective quality controls. • Close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement and Local/Global Quality functions • Prepare and monitor quality KPIs, audit outcomes, management review inputs, and improvement dashboards for India. • Establish supplier quality governance, escalation mechanisms, supplier audit plans, and performance review cadence in collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain • Provide functional guidance and governance to production site quality stakeholders • Promote a strong culture of quality compliance and ownership as well as continuous improvement across functions and locations. • Work closely with the Country MD India for country-level priorities, risk escalation, and alignment on quality and IMS governance • Act as the interface between India operations and regional / global quality and IMS stakeholders.
Your Profile / Qualifications
• University degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an international context • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and relevant ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) • Qualified Auditor / Lead Auditor for relevant management system standards (certified training required)
