Requirements: Strong commercial experience supporting enterprise Microsoft Azure environments.Hands-on experience with Azure Networking, Compute, Storage, Entra ID (Azure AD), Security, and Governance.Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.Proven VMware vSphere/ESXi administration experience.Strong Windows Server infrastructure knowledge including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure.Experience supporting business-critical production platforms.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.Experience leading technical infrastructure or platform initiatives.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Azure Landing Zone design and migration experience is desirable.AWS exposure is desirable.Monitoring and observability tooling experience is desirable.ITIL knowledge is desirable.Microsoft Azure or VMware certifications are desirable.Experience working within enterprise or regulated environments is desirable. Responsibilities: Lead technical design and delivery of hybrid platform and infrastructure changes.Drive Azure platform modernisation, including migration from legacy Azure Landing Zones.Manage and support enterprise Azure services across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.Maintain hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises infrastructure.Support and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.Manage and maintain VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.Lead incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across hybrid platforms.Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver platform improvements.Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards. We are offering a 5-month contract for a Senior Hybrid Platform Engineer / Technical Lead based in Warwickshire, working in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
