Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements: Strong strategic understanding of information security, risk, and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and Cyber EssentialsCredible working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks; hands-on technical security experience is not essentialPrevious experience within an MSP or IT services environment is highly desirableExperience leading or managing a small team, with the ability to coach and develop junior staffComfortable operating in a client-facing, advisory capacity, ideally with prior vCISO, security consultancy, or compliance advisory experienceExperience working with or overseeing MDR/security platformsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBased in or able to comfortably commute to HertfordshireRight to work in the UK Responsibilities: Lead and develop a small team of two junior team members, ensuring they are supported, mentored, and using the tools and platforms effectivelyOversee the effectiveness of security platforms used across the business, including the MDR provider and escalation processesAct as the senior point of contact for customers on security and compliance matters, including guidance toward ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus certificationsProvide virtual CISO services to core customer accounts, advising on security strategy, risk management, and governance at a senior levelOwn the overall internal security and compliance strategy, ensuring the business posture aligns with best practice and relevant frameworksAct as an escalation point for complex security or compliance issues raised by the team or clientsBuild strong client relationships and communicate security and compliance concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Technologies: Security More:
