Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join Barchester Healthcare as a Care Assistant in their care home in Workington. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to the residents, ensuring their daily needs are met with compassion and empathy.
Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant, you will assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care, providing support with meals and drinks, and engaging them in meaningful activities. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to follow care plans and ensure each resident's individual needs are met. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
To be considered for this role, you will need to have some experience in caring for older people, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. The ability to empathize and provide compassionate care is essential.
