With over 20 years of expertise, we’re trusted by North America’s largest energy users, power producers, and utilities.   Why Join Rodan:   Thriving Industry:  Join a rapidly growing sector at the forefront of innovation and sustainability, helping shape the future of energy management.  Product Market Fit:  With a 98% client retention rate and consistent year-over-year growth, Rodan has built a reputation for delivering trusted, long-term partnerships with industry leaders Top Talent & Strong Culture :  Collaborate with high-performing, passionate individuals who are committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. •   What Makes This Role Great:   Gain hands-on experience supporting real-world power system engineering projects Work with protection & control systems, revenue metering, power quality, and electrical distribution systems Learn from experienced engineers across Ontario and Alberta Build valuable technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment Gain exposure to the Ontario energy market and utility sector Benefit from an in-office environment designed to support mentorship, learning, and professional growth   Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design of protection and control, revenue metering, monitoring, power quality, and related power system engineering projects Support the design team in developing medium- and high-voltage metering, protection, and control systems Prepare drawings, schematics, and diagrams for electrical distribution, metering, and communications systems Support engineering calculations related to metering and protection system configurations Assist with the review and development of vendor equipment specifications Provide technical support to internal teams and, where appropriate, external stakeholders Support technical proposals and solutions engineering activities Develop an understanding of Ontario's electricity market, utility operations, and industry best practices Other duties as required Required Skills & Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline Registered in a recognized co-op program Foundational knowledge of power systems, electrical safety principles, grounding, and industry standards Experience or exposure to tools such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB, ETAP, or other engineering software is considered an asset Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn Strong customer service mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment Term Details, Compensation & Work Location Term: September 2026 – December 2026 (4-month co-op term) Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity Schedule: 40-hour work week Location: Mississauga, ON Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in-office Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing Fall 2026 co-op opportunity   Life at Rodan – Our Culture: At Rodan, we believe a great workplace goes beyond the work itself.
