A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK 42 hours per week A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs. Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home. Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available. Main duties of the job A Senior Care Assistant is responsible for delivering person-centred care to residents, including tasks such as bathing, dressing, and administering medication. The role involves contributing to and conducting care reviews to ensure resident plans meet their needs. The assistant will also lead social activities, trips, and participate in the professional development of junior staff. The position requires no less than 12 months of secured right to work in the UK and a commitment to 42 hours per week.
