Are you a skilled and passionate Pharmacy Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are looking for a Band 6 Deputy Lead Medicines Management Technician to join us. You would be joining our innovative and progressive Hampshire Hospitals Pharmacy team. This is a unique role in which you can develop your specialist skillset and advance your leadership skills.
Working alongside the Lead Medicines Management Technician and the Deputy Clinical Pharmacy Manager you will share responsibility for planning the day-to-day running of the Medicines management service to the wards. You will spend time in a patient facing role working on inpatient wards to support the delivery of a range of clinical services. You will support the planning and delivery of training to the Medicines management team as we look to develop their clinical skills as well as our wider training responsibilities. The successful candidate will be provided with the support of a well-established team, opportunities to develop and embed their careers, and to make a difference to patients' lives.
Main duties of the job
To develop, deliver and evaluate the Clinical Pharmacy Service provided to the wards with responsibility for business planning and staff management in line with pharmacy service level agreements and objectives set by the Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Manager, Deputy Clinical Pharmacy Manager and Lead Medicines Management Technician. To manage staff to ensure the effective operation provided to the Clinical service. To ensure that the highest standards of clinical care are continuously delivered.
