NHS Central East ICB is looking to recruit fixed term clinical leads in the following areas:
Clinical Lead - Prevention & Screening for Cancer 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
Clinical Lead - Self Care for MSK 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
Clinical Lead - Utilisation Management in Cardiology 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
Clinical Lead - Care Coordination for Advanced Illness 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
Clinical Lead - Acute Pathway for Mental Illness 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
Clinical Lead Frailty 0.2 wte, FTC 2 years
This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership into a new organisation committed to best serving our population and continuous quality improvement.

Job description Job responsibilities
The Clinical Lead for a Priority Programme provides expert clinical leadership and technical advice across all aspects of a Priority Programme of the ICB.
They will ensure that strategic and operational decisions taken as part of the Priority Programme are underpinned by robust clinical evidence, governance, and population health priorities.
Operating at a senior level, the postholder plays a pivotal role in aligning clinical insight with system transformation, commissioning, quality improvement, and service delivery.
This role fosters multidisciplinary collaboration and ensures that clinical excellence is embedded throughout the ICBs work on this Priority Programme area.
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent level of experience in a relevant field (e.g. health, care, public services, professional expertise, or related discipline). Evidence of continuous professional development, with a track record of keeping skills and knowledge current covering a number of disciplines such as Finance or Management Significant experience at Senior Management (sub board) within the NHS, public sector, or a comparable complex system Registration with a relevant Professional Body and be up to date with CPD Hold a postgraduate or management qualification, or equivalent experience Leadership qualification
Experience Essential
Extensive leadership experience in a complex, multi-agency environment, ideally within health and care commissioning Demonstrable success in delivering organisational change, transformation, and integration at scale. Deep understanding of the NHS, Integrated Care Systems, and the wider health and care policy context, including the priorities of the NHS 10 Year Plan and statutory duties of an ICB Strong track record in delivery of strategic planning, commissioning, and/or system-wide service redesign to improve outcomes and value for money. Evidence of working effectively with a broad range of partners, including local authorities, providers, community organisations, and national bodies Experience of leading in a politically sensitive environment and balancing competing demands with diplomacy and sound judgement
