About this role

Job summary We currently have two vacant part-time posts, covering 22.5 hours and 28.5 hours per week.

We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated, and confident person with experience in providing a high standard of customer care. The post holder will provide a comprehensive patient focused reception service working in our Outpatient Reception at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will work across the Trust sites, which could include Woking Community Hospital.

The successful candidate must have previous reception experience and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

The post holder will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch, safe, and compassionate healthcare to patients. By supporting and welcoming patients into services that cater to their unique needs, the Outpatient Administrator will also provide administrative support to a team, acting as a bridge between patients, doctors, practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, and managing appointments. The staff member will consistently deliver high-quality customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times.

Qualifications Essential

Educated to GCSE Level(or Equivalent)

Desirable

Conflict Resolution training

Knowledge Essential

oo Familiar with Microsoft Office Understanding of Pathways and RTT requirements IT literate with strong keyboard skills

Medical terminology

Experience Essential

Administration / Reception experience Customer Service experience Telephone and face-to-face contact with clients and other people at all levels.

Desirable

Experience of working within the NHS or other Health industries Familiarity with Cerner/SSC
