Job summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) inpatient ward. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to older adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including dementia, depression, anxiety, and psychosis.
Key responsibilities include undertaking assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, administering medication, managing risk, and supporting patients and their families throughout their care journey. You will promote dignity, independence, and recovery while maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated RMN with excellent communication skills, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to delivering safe, effective care. The ability to work collaboratively, build therapeutic relationships, and adapt to a busy ward environment is essential.
