Job summary Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Finance Officer and be part of our award winning finance team.

Based in Trust Headquarters at St. James's University Hospital, you will play a key role in providing excellent financial management support, working closely with both clinical and corporate departments to ensure sound financial decision-making. You will play a vital part in month end processes, financial analysis and reporting.

What you will bring to the role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and provide clear financial advice and guidance to both finance and non-finance colleagues. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring financial information is processed, checked and maintained in line with Trust policies, procedures and Standing Financial Instructions. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, investigate discrepancies and support informed decision-making. Effective organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities, work independently within agreed procedures and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and professional approach, demonstrating integrity, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development, and the ability to contribute positively to team performance and service delivery.
