About this role
Supports inventory control and management by ensuring accuracy of materials, inventory records, and delivery systems. 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday Starting at 20.50.hr
• Verify accurate quantities and descriptions for incoming materials based on open purchase orders, packing lists, freight bills and bills of lading, and enter the data into the system.
• Mark freight bills and noting any damage or shortage of goods delivered.
• Apply receiver’s stamp (LP) and signature to all approved freight bills, bills of lading and packing lists.
• Label all stock items with the date of receipt or shipment and the part number to all stock items.
• Properly tag incoming or outgoing materials and maintain associated documentation.
• Support inventory accuracy through verification and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain alignment between Oracle system locations and the corresponding physical storage locations.
• Assist in development of audit processes and Kanban delivery signals.
• Perform cycle counts in accordance with inventory.
• Maintain organized and properly labeled storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read BOM and interpret bills of materials (BOMs).
• Ability to read and understand shipping and/or receiving schedules.
• Ability to obtain Rheem lift truck license.
• Experience performing inventory transactions in warehouse management systems (e.g. Korber and HighJump) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems Word, Excel, and PowerPoint within the first 6 months of hire.
• Proficiency with Oracle inventory applications within the first 6 months of hire.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory transactions and receipts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and management.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Demonstrates skills in problem solving, attention to detail, basic math, and reading/writing comprehension.
