PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, and staffing the Production department • Accountable for meeting production, quality, and safety targets • Directly manage, coach, and develop all department personnel • Responsible for performance management, including coaching, discipline, and input into hiring and termination decisions • Manage the department in a cost-effective manner through sound production planning and resource allocation • Exercise independent judgment in production scheduling, staffing, and operational decision-making • Responsible for maintaining the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies to support production requirements • Review production records for accuracy and performance tracking • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs • Assist and recommend in equipment acquisition, upgrades, and process improvements • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the machining shop areas • Responsible for generating non-compliance reports and initiating corrective and preventative actions in accordance with operating procedures • Responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe working environment in accordance with HSE procedures • Comply with all NOV Company and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures • Ensure alignment with company objectives and operational goals • Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have high school diploma or GED 5+ years experience in production and/or manufacturing environment • 2–5 years experience in a supervisory or management role Oilfield equipment manufacturing knowledge preferred • Working knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies preferred
