About this role
Job summary The post holder will lead the day-to-day management and workflow of the homecare hub service, including liaising with homecare providers and patients, ordering of medicines, resolving procurement/invoicing related problems and enquiries promptly, production of financial and usage reports and working collaboratively with other pharmacy teams, healthcare professionals and homecare providers.
Main duties of the job They will be responsible for the operational aspects of the homecare hubs across our St James, Leeds General Infirmary and Chapel Allerton sites, ensuring the RPS Professional Standards for Homecare Services are adhered to. This will include identifying operational pressure trends, drawing up mitigation plans to facilitate work being processed to required deadlines. They will also ensure all procurement activities are compliant with the Trusts best practice and procedures and undertaken in accordance with the organisations Standing Financial Instructions.

What you will bring to the role The postholder will
Be responsible for the training and assessment of Pharmacy Support Workers Higher Level, and Assistant Practitioners to maximise efficiency, resilience and effectiveness.
Required to identify opportunities for service development, and work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals to ensure high quality service can be maintained.
Prioritise workload, coordinate workflow and resolve operational issues after analysis.
Act as a professional role model and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support the Specialist Pharmacy Technician with absence management and HR processes for the homecare hub team.
Identify and coordinate service improvement actions with relevant stakeholders
