Job summary
The Division of Emergency Care and Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, strategically minded individual to join the divisional operational team. Reporting into the Divisional Operations Director, you will provide key operational leadership within the division, working with Medicine teams to provide the highest standards of care for our patients.
We are looking for a leader who is values based, forward thinking, has vision and will inspire their teams. You will have an impressive track record in operational and service management, service delivery and service improvement, with well-developed leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Main duties of the job
The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Division and organisation.
The post holder will manage the service areas they are responsible for, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available.
They will contribute to strategic and annual business planning for their service areas, including the engagement of senior medical and other staff, as required.
They will also coordinate the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and other projects for the areas they are responsible for. They will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk. The post will deputise for the Divisional General Manager.
