It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends. 37.5 hours per week.

Bere Clinic is a 12 bed Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) to support young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders.
With an onsite school providing educational services while the young people are in our care and full multidisciplinary team, it’s a great opportunity to be part of something new and help shape its future.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Candidates should possess relevant certification or proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant, particularly in mental health or working with eating disorders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital, alongside a compassionate and resilient nature. Additional training and qualifications specific to healthcare support in a mental health setting may be advantageous.
