Job summary We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Deputy Shop Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy charity shop. This is a varied role where youll help keep the shop organised, welcoming and commercially successful. Working closely with the Shop Manager, youll play an important part in driving sales, supporting volunteers and maintaining high standards. Youll also step in to lead the shop when needed, making this a great opportunity to build your retail and leadership experience.
Main duties of the job You will support the daily operation of the shop, helping to maximise sales and create a positive customer experience. This includes merchandising, stock handling, cash management and maintaining high standards across the shop floor. Youll work closely with volunteers, helping to recruit, train and motivate them, and ensure they feel supported in their roles. Youll also help ensure the shop runs safely and efficiently, following all relevant procedures.
