Job summary Job Summary The Neurology Research Team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Neurology Research Nurse to join our expanding clinical research team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Neurology studies and improve outcomes for patients participating in clinical trials.
It is a full time position (1.0 WTE),with a permanent contract and the post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary Hospital. We are occasionally working across St James Hospital, Seacroft Hospital , Wharfedale Hospital and Chapel Allerton.
The post holder will contribute actively to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Neurology Research Portfolio. The main tasks are: - Coordinating and managing Neurology clinical trials. -Supporting and mentoring junior staff members. - Screen, recruit, consent, and support patients participating in research studies. - Treatment delivery of IMP and conducting the Follow up. -Leading the Clinical Trials.
In addition of being responsible for ensuring that high standards of clinical care planning, delivery, safety, and patient satisfaction are to a very high standards, compliance with Trust policy, study protocol requirements, local and national guidance and legislation is required

What you will bring to the role We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who can bring enthusiasm for research, excellent patient-centred care, and strong organisational skills to the role. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and manage competing priorities within a busy clinical research environment. A proactive approach, attention to detail, commitment to high-quality data collection, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through clinical research are essential. Experience in Neurology or clinical trials would be highly valued, alongside a willingness to continue developing professionally within research practice. The post holder will be required to work alongside industry partners, the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H) and colleagues in neighbouring establishments, attending regional and national meetings as required.
