Essel is a premier environmental services company dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable environmental remediation solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Environmental Superintendent to join our team and oversee environmental remediation projects from planning through completion while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all daily field operations related to environmental remediation projects.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to meet established milestones and goals.Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications.Develop and implement safety protocols and conduct safety meetings.Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in environmental remediation project oversight.Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER).Proven leadership and team management skills on construction and remediation sites.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents.Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple project sites as needed.Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.Benefits
