About this role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in Oroville, CA. This position is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedules, budgets, quality standards, and strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from planning through completionDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, field teams, architects, and ownersReview contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change ordersLead project meetings and provide progress updatesTrack costs, billing, procurement, and project documentationIdentify and resolve schedule, cost, and construction issuesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirementsSupport project closeout, punch lists, and final documentationRequirements
Minimum 3 years of Project Manager experience in commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction schedules, budgets, contracts, and project documentation
Experience with ground-up construction, sitework, public works, or DSA projects is preferred
Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction management, scheduling, and Microsoft Office software
Must be local to Oroville or the surrounding area to be considered

Contract-to-Hire: The selected candidate will initially work through Essel before potentially converting to the client’s permanent team.
