You will also be expected to provide diary management, such as booking appointments and to maintain electronic records, in accordance with Trust policy.You will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administration support and mutual assistance within the service. It willbe expected that the post holder will be able to think on their feet, provide flexible cover for service opening hours and able to cover times ofabsence such as holidays and sick leave.The work will be demanding and varied and you will be required to have excellent demonstrable administrative skills, be confident and assertiveand be able to work autonomously using your own initiative. You should be a competent audio typist and have a good knowledge of Excel.Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability and community healthcare services for the population of the Black Country.Our service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, specialist nurses, systemic, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists.This post will be based in Walsall locality however applicants much be prepared to work across the Black Country as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience Essential
Good standard of education / 5 GCSE's or equivalent with GCSE English grade A - C Word processing / typing at RSA/OCR Level II (or equivalent) NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification

Skills / Abilities Essential
oExcellent work processing skills including accurate and speedy typing and audio typing oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing as first point of contact with all levels of staff in person, on the telephone and in written correspondence oEffective handling of highly confidential information ensuring high level of discretion at all times oExcellent planning and organisational skills
