Main duties of the job
The Venue Operations Assistant will be at the heart of the everyday running of Horizon Leeds, delivering a 5-star quality service to all delegates who attend meeting and conferences at Horizon Leeds.
You will support the Facilities and Venue Operations manager in the delivery of our large schedule of events and the operational running of our Leeds office.
The postholder is responsible for day-to-day operation of a busy events venue and running of our Leeds office space including, high levels of customer service, event-set-up and management of day-to-day events, hospitality services including refreshment and lunch services, health and safety, and general office duties.

a passion for customer service and providing great operational service / support,the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Working in a small team you will get to experience the operational running of a busy events & hospitality venue.

Qualifications Essential
1.Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with evidence of an ability build good working relationships with all levels of stakeholders 2.Ability to deliver high standards of customer service. 3.Keenness to learn and develop health and safety knowledge in a venue and office setting. 4.Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. 5.Be able to work autonomously and on various events simultaneously. 6.An ability to make decision quickly and problem solve. 7.Well organised, able to prioritise operational demands whilst meeting project deadlines. 8.Basic understanding of event Audio Visual system, and keenness to learn and develop AV knowledge
