About this role

Job summary

Wye Valley Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Safeguarding Administrator to join the Adult Safeguarding Team. The team consists of three clinical specialists, all committed to the 'Think Family' and Making Safeguarding Personal' models and dedicated to improving outcomes for adults at risk of harm.

We are a friendly team with a breadth of knowledge and expertise and we are excited to support the development of new colleagues. The nature of adult safeguarding requires you to work in a highly confidential environment with frequent exposure to potentially distressing information and so a level of emotional resilience is required.

This role would suit someone who is well organised and confident in directing their own workload. We're also looking for excellent communication skills and confidence in using Word, Excel and Outlook. The ability to be self-motivated and use your own initiative is important, together with working well within a team.

21 hr p/w

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Ensure delivery of a comprehensive administrative and clerical service to the Adult Safeguarding Team.

Be expected to work independently seeking support when requiring to manage their own workload.

Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation and promote these on day to day basis.

Person Specification

Education Essential

Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration or equivalent experience

Education Essential

GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
