Job summary
The Band 5 Community Nurse will be a Registered Nurse working within the Health Visiting service as part of a wider skill-mix and multi-agency team. The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people and their families, contributing to improved health outcomes across communities.
Working under the guidance and supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN - Health Visitor), the post holder will assist in delivering elements of the Healthy Child Wales Programme (HCWP), undertaking delegated activities in line with competence and service need.
The role provides an excellent foundation for professional development, and while SCPHN training is not a requirement, candidates will be supported to pursue this pathway in the future should they wish to progress.
