Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Radiographers to join our dynamic imaging team at Worthing and Southlands Hospitals (including the Community Diagnostic Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea, opened in October 2023 and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment).
This is a rotational Senior Radiographer post covering a range of modalities, includingCT, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Dental Radiography, and Theatres. A key aspect of the role is rotation intoCT, so applicants should either be CT-trained or willing to undertake training.
The post will bebased at one of the main sites (St Richard's or Worthing/Southlands), but there may be occasional cross-site working across the Trust.

Currently the departments are undergoing an exciting transition from traditional on-call and standby arrangements to a fully implemented shift based working model. This change is being introduced to better support service demands, enhance work-life balance, and ensure consistent staffing across extended hours. Main duties of the job
This exciting opportunity is ideal for radiographers with experience in a Radiology department who are looking to further develop their skills within our excellent imaging services on the South Coast.

We are looking for radiographers who:
Demonstrate high clinical and professional standards
Consistently deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care
Can provide evidence of ongoing CPD
Experience in CT or a willingness to train and rotate into CT is essential.You will also need a positive attitude towards teamworking, along with strong organisational and communication skills.
All applicants must hold aBSc in Diagnostic Radiography, theDiploma of the College of Radiographers, or an equivalent qualification, and beHCPC registered.
As with many imaging departments, demand for our services continues to grow. Therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to ourseven-day service, including nights, extended working hours & weekendsas part of the rota.

ThisBand 6 Radiographer role will be based atWorthing and Southlands Hospitals (Shoreham-by-Sea).
As a Senior Radiographer, you will be expected to undertake a wide range of clinical duties to deliver a high-quality imaging service that supports accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. You will also play a key role in encouraging and supporting colleagues to uphold these high standards.
Working closely with the wider Radiology team, you will contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care in line with bothlocal policiesandnational guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
Rotating through a variety of imaging modalities, withCT rotation being essential
Performing a range of radiographic procedures to a high clinical standard
Supervising and supporting the development ofjunior radiographers and students
Actively participating in the24/7 shift rota, including weekends, evenings, nights, and on-call duties
