Main duties of the job This Healthcare Assistant position at Operose Health involves assisting with patient duties and supporting team members such as the clinical and Nurse Lead. You will work with patients with long-term conditions like Diabetes, requiring experience in Phlebotomy. Additionally, you'll perform clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse, and simple wound care. Administrative tasks include managing new patient registrations, providing appropriate leaflets, stock control, and ordering. Key qualities sought include experience in a Primary Care setting with phlebotomy skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and possession of basic PC skills. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care. Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained. You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes etc. So must have experience in Phlebotomy. Provide clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care. Completing administrative tasks such as new patient registrations, providing appropriate leaflets, stock control and ordering.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy. Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security. Must be able to adapt with changing priorities and be personable, polite and patient with our patients. Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email. Qualifications Essential
Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy. Ability to work within processes, maintain confidentiality and data security.
