Main duties of the job As a Prescribing Pharmacist at Operose Health, you will be a key member of the team providing care starting with patient history and moving through clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care evaluation. This role requires safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients in a general practice setting. You will work in collaboration with the general practice team to meet patient needs, support policy delivery, and provide nurse leadership when needed. Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Independent prescribing qualification. Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role. Previous general practice experience is desirable. Qualifications Essential
Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Independent prescribing qualification. Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in prioritization and decision-making. Previous general practice experience is desirable.
