Birmingham Women's and Children's (BWC) NHS Foundation Trust are looking for motivated individuals to join us as an Experienced Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW).
BWC is split across 3 sites in a thriving multicultural city. Working in a clinical role; you will undertake a trust training program whilst working alongside a multidisciplinary team. HCSW's play a vital role in caring for patients; working under the direction of healthcare professionals they take care of the day-to-day needs of patients, providing help with personal care, meals, mobility, housekeeping duties and performing patient observations, to name a few.

Main duties of the job

Maths and English Language GCSE A-C/9-4 or level 2 functional skills/key skills in numeracy and literacy Vocational qualification at Level 3 in health-related subject Care certificate
KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE Essential
6 Months minimum of UK acute care experience Understanding of the principles of safeguarding in relation to this role
