About this role
- Previous leadership experience or shown leadership potential - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in AAA game development - Experience with code and data optimization - Fluent in C++ - Experience with Unreal Engine 4 - Strong programming skills and a shown ability to work with all departments to carry out the vision of the game - Experience in the design and architecture of game systems. - Self-motivated and self-directing, knowledgeable about and willing to pitch in on many areas of development - Comfortable working within (and extending) an established code framework - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Real passion for video games Working on-site at the Neon Giant games studio, an English speaking office. Responsibilities include everything from gameplay systems, AI and UI to tools, middleware integration and networking. You would be working closely with the rest of the team to deliver top-quality end-user experiences and manage the code team. You’ll have complete ownership over the code you write and be responsible for testing and maintaining the features you work on while also helping to address design issues. We are a group of game veterans with a past in some of the world’s biggest action game franchises. With a combined game development experience of 70 years we felt it was about time to create our own game studio, built around a small but extremely talented team. We are hard at work on our first title set in a brand new cyberpunk world.
