About this role
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in game development animating gameplay - Have shipped AAA PC or console titles as a animator - Exceptional skills in animating the human bipedal figure, as well as other organic forms - A deep understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation - Able to effectively collaborate with game designers and programmers - A passionate, and creative problem solver with a phenomenal team first attitude - Excellent communication skills - A passion for video games - Example work - Unreal Engine 4 animation implementation experience (animation blueprints, blendspaces, gameplay logic) - Experience with rigging, mocap and physics simulation We’re looking for a gameplay-oriented animator who not only excels at keyframe animation but can also own technical animation duties such as rigging, skinning and implementation in the game. It involves working on everything from player and enemy locomotion to mechanical animations, ambient animations and in-game cinematics. You will be responsible for all animation content creation and be expected to own the implementation of animations in the engine. We are a group of game veterans with a past in some of the world’s biggest action game franchises. With a combined game development experience of 70 years we felt it was about time to create our own game studio, built around a small but extremely talented team. We are hard at work on our first title set in a brand new cyberpunk world.
