MachineGames is looking a junior to mid-level Technical Environment Artist to join our team. As a Technical Environment Artist you will work closely with Environment Artists and Leads with a focus on implementing destructibles and animated assets as well as assisting vfx artist with technical support. Requirements: Experience using realtime game engines with a focus on assets and physics. Experience creating 3D assets from highpoly, lowpoly, baking and texturing. Passion for environment art and world building. Modo experience is a plus. Experience in Houdini is a plus. Python scripting knowledge is a plus. As a Technical Environment Artist you will work closely with Environment Artists and Leads with a focus on implementing destructibles and animated assets as well as assisting vfx artist with technical support. Responsibilities: To collaborate with artists & level designers to bring environments to life. Setup destructible assets from Modo to Houdini to Engine Setup ambient animated and physics objects in-engine. Troubleshoot environment related technical issues. Collaborate with effects artists and scripters. Collaborate with programmers to improve in-house tools.
