About this role
We are looking for a Service & Applications specialist who is able to provide technical and clinical support during the sales process of Ultrasound Women’s Health equipments (providing demos, installations and customer service). Essential Responsibilities: In this role you are also responsible for selling Ultrasound Service & Probe Hygiene offerings. The Probe hygiene offering is designed to support ultrasound users to maintain a high level of disinfection on their ultrasound probes together with an improved cost control. Probe hygiene is a new service and support offering where this role is key for growing the business and developing the business segment. • The role will report into the Nordic Commercial leader for Clinical Care Solutions and will be based at our Stockholm office • Promote and sell system upgrades, probe service & hygiene offerings and customer contracts. Responsibilities include also supporting our UNISYN (GE Healthcare) Probe Care offerings • Drive the Probe hygiene business in Swedish market with Service sales & Ultrasound sales team • Provide technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers • Develop and deliver product training to customers on equipment use, monitor customer installations of ultrasound products to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies • Facilitate team communication and the sharing of best practices • Communicate with local Service and equipment sales team to ensure all customer and business needs are met • Travel within Sweden but also some travelling in Nordics Qualifications/Requirements: • Required active clinical certification/registries required to scan live patients in a clinical setting • Demonstrated ultrasound clinical scanning proficiencies • Relevant clinical experience following certification with demonstrated skill in specific required areas or relevant commercial applications experience with demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products • Willingness to travel 50% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows • Excellent interpersonal skills including team working skills and good communication skills • Excellent verbal and written Swedish and English skills • Advanced IT-skills • EU work permit • Driving Licence • Self-starter, able to manage time and organize and prioritize workload Desired Characteristics: • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent knowledge/experience) preferred • Strong leadership skills • Strong presentation & communication skills • Solid problem-solving skills • Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments • Clinical ultrasound experience in large hospital/university setting preferred • Advanced certification/registries desired (e.g. midwife) • Previous sales & application experience is desired, but not required
