The University of Bath is seeking a dynamic Deputy Head of International Student Recruitment to help shape and deliver our global recruitment strategy and drive growth in new and emerging markets.
As one of three Deputy Heads, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering Bath’s international recruitment objectives. You’ll lead a talented regional recruitment team, manage key external partnerships, and develop innovative market plans that strengthen our global presence. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will influence strategic decisions and help diversify our student community.
About the role

support the Head of International Student Recruitment in leading the team and shaping global initiatives. drive recruitment strategies for designated regions, and initially with a particular focus on steering and leading on our new market development strategy. manage relationships with agents, contractors, and international partners to ensure seamless integration with University activities. collaborate with Marketing and Admissions teams to deliver coordinated campaigns and impactful content. represent the University at international events and provide market insights to senior leadership.

About you
You will have:
significant experience in international student recruitment, with proven success in developing and implementing new market strategies. strong leadership skills and experience managing teams and external stakeholders. excellent communication, data analysis, and presentation skills. a proactive, resilient, and flexible approach, with willingness to travel internationally (up to 12 weeks per year). a thorough understanding of global education trends and qualifications frameworks.
Further information
This is a full-time, permanent position and there is an expectation that you will commit to working on campus 1-2 days per week to attend meetings and support visits, including Wednesday each week as the regular on campus working day for the whole International student Recruitment team. A valid passport is also required with no travel restrictions as you will be required to travel globally.
