QualificationsTo qualify at the GS-14 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Experience leading and coordinating outreach programs for stakeholders, and advising senior leaders on organizational policies and operational procedures. Major DutiesYou will serve as a Supervisory Case Management Specialist - OPA90 Pollution Response and be responsible for supervising, directing, and technically administering the execution of the work for a Regional Case Team within the National Pollution Fund Center's Case Management Division. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Manage and supervise the Regional Case Team in NPFC's Case Management Division, including planning work, setting priorities, establishing performance standards, and evaluating team performance. Managing the implementation of new and revised policy in response to changes in the oil and energy industry. Supervising a team of Case Managers, performing duties such as planning work, setting priorities, establishing performance standards, and evaluating performance. Ensure timely and appropriate access to oil and hazardous substance removal funding for Federal On-Scene Coordinators (FOSC). Establish lines of accounting and ensure availability of funding to execute spill response contracts. Advising senior leaders on NPFC policies, funding mechanisms, and operational procedures for environmental response. Developing and maintaining policy and guidance for all external customers (FOSCs, States, Tribes, industry responders) on accessing and managing funds. Cultivating and managing strategic relationships with federal, state, tribal, and industry partners. Mandatory training is required which must be successfully completed and other training may occur as necessary for success in the position.RequirementsAll qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
