Major DutiesYou will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Operator and be responsible for managing the Liquid Oxygen (LOX) storage facility and all associated support equipment used to service and maintain LOX-equipped aircraft. The role is considered a technical expert in LOX systems and carries responsibility for the complete sustainment and continuity of LOX maintenance and operations. The position will be located at each operational Air Station that maintains LOX-equipped aircraft and is designated as the 'Operator in Charge' during the assigned shift at the assigned command... Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Perform operator maintenance of cryogenic storage and dispensing equipment. Order, receive, and manage inventory of cryogenic products. Order replacement equipment and spare parts to support liquid oxygen (LOX) operations. Inspect Aviators' Breathable Oxygen operations to ensure contract performance meets regulatory requirements. Observe work sequences and safety precautions employed during the delivery of liquid oxygen (LOX). Ensure contract services are in compliance with agency regulations and technical directives. Perform required testing and inspections of Liquid Oxygen (LOX)RequirementsAll qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
