Your mission – driving the strategic planning to meet and exceed business goals In this position, your mission is to ensure that our supply chain is in line with the demand, supply, inventory and service level to make sure that business targets are met. Your role has two dimensions – one focusing on overseeing the production flow of products from the different segments, and one focusing on supporting our different regional divisions globally. This means that you have an overall tactical planning responsibility for the supply chain - from production plant and warehouse all the way to the customer - and you also drive the strategical planning for our production units, including setting necessary standards and demands. The key to success in this role is continuously striving to develop the supply chain processes by ensuring implementation and follow up by defined KPI’s. The location for this position is Sandviken, and travel is a natural part of the role as you visit our production facilities, warehouses and sales areas to stay updated and understand the local challenges that occur. Your character – a proactive leader with a holistic view and an eye for small details We are looking for someone with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar, or equivalent knowledge gained from experience. It’s important that you have a background in a global company working with matters related to inventory control, forecasting and supply chain management, and you have solid knowledge of manufacturing processes. Preferably, you also have experience from working with sales within the mining or construction industry, and if you have experience from leading others remotely in a digital, global environment, it’s a plus. As we’re located in Sweden but operate on the global stage, your Swedish and English skills must be advanced, both verbally and in writing. Your personality makes us better! Being analytical and strategic, you have a natural ability to plan and forecast numbers and statistics, and you truly enjoy seeing how your findings effect our business. You are also creative and seek improvements in your daily work, which enables you to actively solve problems.
