About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our nursery team at Manor Community Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You will play a key role in helping every child to feel valued, engaged, and confident, both in the nursery and beyond. Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the classroom under the direction of the EYFS leadWork with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidenceAdapt support to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SENDPromote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence in learningContribute to pupils’ social, emotional, and mental wellbeingPrepare, set up and clear away learning resources and classroom materialsSupport play-based and practical learning activitiesAssist with supervision during break and lunchtimes where requiredRecords basic pupil data, observations and learning evidenceUphold safeguarding procedures and report any concerns appropriatelySupport pupils with personal care needs (e.g. toileting, hygiene, dressing and eating) in line with school guidance.Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a full and relevant DfE qualification at Level 3 such as Level 3 Early Years Educator (or equivalent) with practical skillsIs passionate about supporting children’s learning and developmentBuilds strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesDemonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm, consistent approachWorks effectively as part of a team while also using initiativeHas strong communication and interpersonal skillsIs committed to inclusion and ensuring every child can succeedShows enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to learnHas good literacy, numeracy, and basic IT skillsWhy Work With Us?
