Secondary Special Education Teachers (*Anticipated 2 Openings: MS / HS)
Grundy Center Community School District is seeking dedicated Secondary Special Education Teachers to join our 5–12 middle and high school team for the 2027-2028 school year.
We are looking for educators who believe learning should be interactive, meaningful, and connected to real life. Our program focuses on delivering high-quality Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), partnering closely with general education teachers, and using project-based learning to help students build executive functioning, independence, and real-world skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) aligned with student IEP goals and individual learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support inclusion, accommodations, and student growth across subject areas.
- Utilize hands-on and project-based learning strategies to build academic, social-emotional, and executive functioning skills.
- Monitor IEP progress, facilitate transition planning, and help prepare students for life beyond secondary school.
