Birchcliff Pharmacy Inc. is a community pharmacy in Scarborough and part of the Pharmabest group. We're a team-focused, patient-first pharmacy with a modern workflow. We're looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
What You'll Do ?
- Prepare, process, and accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with OCP standards ?
- Perform final checks on technical aspects of dispensing (Regulated Pharmacy Technician scope) ?
- Enter and verify prescriptions in Fillware, manage refills, and resolve billing issues with third-party payers and the Ontario Drug Benefit program ?
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns ?
- Support pharmacists with patient care services, including blister packaging, compliance packs, and Home Health Care billing ?
- Support pharmacy assistants and other support staff ?
- Provide friendly, professional service to patients and healthcare partners What You Bring ?
- Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician, in good standing, and maintained valid at all times throughout employment ?
- Experience with Fillware pharmacy software (required) ?
- Working knowledge of third-party/ODB billing ?
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills ?
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ?
